Risk Disclaimer
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Important: Please read this entire disclaimer before using any trading features.
You must acknowledge and accept these risks before enabling automated trading on Pulse Pilot.
1. General Investment Risk
Trading stocks and other securities involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The valuation of stocks may fluctuate, and you may lose some or all of your invested capital. You should not invest money you cannot afford to lose.
2. No Investment Advice
Pulse Pilot is a self-directed technology platform, not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. You initiate and authorize every trade, or you configure and enable the automated parameters under which trades are placed; Pulse Pilot acts only at your direction and never exercises discretion over your account on its own.
All trading signals, ML predictions, sentiment scores, and analyses provided by Pulse Pilot are generated by automated computer systems. They are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment decision.
3. Automated Trading Risks
By enabling automated trading, you acknowledge the following specific risks:
- Algorithm errors: Machine learning models can produce incorrect predictions. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Model accuracy varies with market conditions.
- Execution risk: Orders may be filled at prices different from expected due to market volatility, slippage, or delays in order transmission.
- System failures: Software bugs, server outages, network interruptions, or brokerage API failures may prevent timely order execution, position monitoring, or stop-loss triggers.
- Market risk: Rapid market movements, flash crashes, halted trading, or extreme volatility events may cause losses beyond configured safety limits.
- Data risk: Signals rely on real-time market data, news feeds, and SEC filings. Incorrect, delayed, or missing data can lead to erroneous trading decisions.
- Overconcentration: Automated systems may accumulate positions that create outsized exposure to particular sectors or stocks.
4. Safety Limits Are Not Guarantees
Pulse Pilot provides configurable safety mechanisms including:
- Maximum position sizes and daily trade limits
- Stop-loss and trailing stop orders
- Daily loss limits and exposure caps
- Emergency stop functionality
These safety limits reduce but do not eliminate risk. In extreme market conditions (gaps, halts, circuit breakers), actual losses may exceed configured limits. Stop-loss orders become market orders when triggered and may execute at prices significantly worse than the stop price.
5. Your Responsibilities
As a user of Pulse Pilot's trading features, you are responsible for:
- Monitoring your account and open positions regularly
- Configuring appropriate safety limits for your risk tolerance
- Understanding every trade that is executed on your behalf
- Maintaining sufficient buying power in your brokerage account
- Complying with all applicable securities laws and regulations
- Tax reporting on all gains and losses
- Using the emergency stop feature if you have concerns about system behavior
6. Limitation of Liability
PULSE PILOT, ITS OPERATORS, DEVELOPERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, MISSED OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS PLATFORM, WHETHER THE PLATFORM IS FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY OR NOT.
YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF AUTOMATED TRADING FEATURES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO LOSSES CAUSED BY SYSTEM ERRORS, ALGORITHM ERRORS, DATA ERRORS, NETWORK FAILURES, OR EXTREME MARKET CONDITIONS.
7. Past Performance
Any backtesting results, historical performance metrics, or model accuracy statistics displayed on the platform reflect past performance only. Past results do not guarantee or predict future performance. Market conditions change, and strategies that performed well historically may underperform or lose money in the future.
8. Regulatory Notice
Pulse Pilot is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), or any state securities regulatory authority as an investment advisor or broker-dealer. The automated trading features are tools that execute at your direction, not managed account services.
